1. General Description
   1. Fusion splicer used to join 2 fiber optic cables.
   2. Not as powerful as the Fujikura fusion splicer but simpler to use.
      
2. Operating Instructions
   1. 1) Strip and cleave the ends of the two fibers you want to splice.
   2. 2) Place the two ends in the v-clamps on the splicer.
   3. 3) Close the hood (push the nob on the side forward)
   4. 4) Press the mode button to change the splicer to manual.
   5. 5) Using the arrows on the right to align the fibers. Press view to change the view and make sure the fibers are aligned on both axis.
   6. 6) Press the fuse button to do a pre arc to get rid of the dust on the fibers.
   7. 7) Press fuse again to splice the fibers together.
