Anti-Reflection Coating Thickness Calculator

This calculator determines parameter values (coating thickness, optimal index, and reflected power percentage) for AR coatings used in a 2-film, air-ambient system with normal light incidence. First, select your desired substrate material, or provide your own material index parameters with the 'custom substrate' option. Then select the desired AR coating material, or use the 'optimal index and thickness' option to show what material parameters would give 0% reflection with your substrate.

Index values are linear interpolations on the values given in Palik's Handbook of Optical Constants. To view these values in table form, see Tabulated Optical Constants under References -> General Info
